Hello Riverside Family!
We hope you’ve stayed dry through the heavy rain of June and cool during the last super-hot week! On Sunday, we celebrated eight baptisms off-site in Oakmont! It was a wonderful evening to celebrate new life in Christ together.
Fun and Freedom Day Camp reached record numbers, with 162 children, 140 teens, and numerous adults participating. The camp fostered growth in friendship, sports, and knowledge of Jesus over a week-long period. Our summer Serve the Burgh project took us to Cheswick Christian Academy, where 18 Riversiders helped paint, clean, organize, and landscape the school's property.

Riverside Student Ministry’s annual Beach Escape was a hot one this year! Beulah Beach welcomed our 80 students and 23 adults for a fun-filled experience of laughter and connection as they worshipped Jesus. At the end of the week, ten students chose to be baptized in the lake!
July and August continue to bring opportunities to connect and contribute. Bible Adventure Week (BAW) takes place from Monday, July 14, through Thursday, July 17, and our kids' ministry team is excited to help kids develop and experience a true relationship with God through this year’s theme, True North. Those willing to volunteer and children aged 4 through grade 6 interested in attending can sign up here!
Our next Pizza with the Pastors event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23 at our Parkside campus! Discover your spiritual gifts in an engaging and informative session designed to help you identify your unique spiritual gifts and explore how you can use them to serve within our church body. - Pastor Joshua, Olivia, Silas, and Finn Kennard are in their last stages of preparing to leave for England. Please continue to pray for their transition as they prepare for safety in travel, leave family and friends, and begin forming new relationships in England, and that the boys adjust smoothly.
- During the month of July, Pastors David and Amie Kennard will be taking a sabbatical, a time of rest and renewal for them. This time away is an ongoing part of the culture at Riverside to ensure the long-term health and vitality of our pastors. Please join us in praying for them. We look forward to their return in August.
